As a first-generation college graduate and first-generation MBA, I know firsthand what it’s like to grow up without role models or context for how the real world works. I entered adulthood without a clear understanding of how business, organizations, and institutions function, and like many people, I followed paths that looked prestigious rather than ones aligned with my interests and strengths.
The Rookie MBA Library was created to change that. Through age-appropriate stories for children, the series makes real-world understanding accessible – long before higher education. These books help children make sense of the business and systems they are already surrounded by, building context, curiosity, and confidence about the world they’re growing into.
